When I look at a bulletin board, I see a useful, but unaesthetic everyday object.

I thought I could help evolve the product by decorating it, retaining it’s practicality while letting the board contribute personality to a space.

My initial forays were personal: I collaged discarded boards with magazine clippings. You can purchase my one-of-a-kind collage boards on Etsy.

Though time-consuming to create, the custom boards led to simpler -- but no less attractive -- results.

Cork is an amazing material; trees not only survive the harvest, but regenerate harvested cork.

According to Wikipedia: “The sustainability of production and the easy recycling of cork products and by-products are two of it’s most distinctive aspects.”
